Rules for providing information
A request for information pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, as amended (hereinafter “the Act”), may be submitted orally or in writing, including via electronic communications networks or services. Written requests should be submitted to: ZRIA, a.s., Holešovská 1691, 769 01 Holešov; electronic requests to: info@zria.cz.
The Act does not apply to the provision of information that is subject to industrial property rights. The applicant is required to pay the costs associated with providing the information in accordance with the schedule of fees.
When notifying the applicant to collect the requested information, the obligated entity will also inform them of the applicable fee. The applicant shall pay this amount in cash at the cashier’s office of the obligated entity upon collection of the information, or by bank transfer to account number 2099622/0800. In the case of payment by bank transfer, the information will only be released upon presentation of proof of payment. If the applicant fails to pay within 60 days of being notified of the required fee, the request will be set aside. Information is provided within 15 days of receipt of the request. In more complex cases, information is provided within 25 days of receipt; the applicant must be informed of such an extension and its reasons before the expiry of the basic 15-day period.
In matters not expressly governed by these rules, the obligated entity shall proceed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Act. The rights and obligations of the applicant or the obligated entity arising from the Act are not affected by these rules.
